The Quasar represents our effort to improve on our existing designs with a custom driver in a reasonably priced open-back headphone that offers more low end and high end extension, a greater sense of micro and macro dynamics, improved timbre/tone and a greater a sense of space and stage. With the new higher impedance custom driver, we aim to provide greater compatibility with tube amplifiers without sacrificing sensitivity that makes our headphones easy to drive on a wide variety of sources with low power requirements.

The Quasar represents our attempt to take what we loved about the Borealis and improve on it in all areas to create a higher performing overall package. We've gone to great lengths and incorporated community feedback into our products to try to capture the best qualities of the most popular headphones in the audiophile market. Quasar combines excellent tonality, hard hitting dynamics, and effortless resolution to extract the most from your recordings.

We utilize 50mm, 300 ohm drivers with our proprietary diaphragm design and dual-magnet magnetic circuit, ensuring that despite the high impedance, the headphones will still work well with portable sources, but reveal improvements from desktop sources as well, providing flexibility and sound quality in a variety of conditions. Our construction is simple and durable. We've made an effort to keep these models free of all animal skins, utilizing a combination vegan leather, synthetic fabrics, resins, and metals to create a headphone that should easily handle normal wear and tear for years to come.

Orders are estimated to ship in up to 12 months of ordering. This is due to the small batch ordering of parts and lead times, but will work to fill orders as quickly as possible. By ordering this product and accepting the ordering terms, you agree that you understand that this estimate is not a guarantee of delivery date. Once the order is shipped, our normal Warranty and Return Policy applies just as with any other purchase. Cancellation requests for orders will incur a fee as detailed in our Warranty and Return Policy. Initial units will ship with some 3D printed parts created using FDM (TPU 95A) and SLS (Nylon PA12) processes.
