The new Australis v3 offers the same great sound and now features a newer, lower profile, folding headband design that was remixed with permission from Capra Audio and an updated cup design that incorporates a wood composite with a burl effect.

Note: We will not sell the new headband assembly or other parts separately to owners of old units nor will we upgrade V1 or V2 units to V3. If you would like to purchase a similar headband, please contact Capra Audio for their headband replacement product for the Borealis and Australis v1 and v2.

The Australis represents the culmination of our efforts to design a durable, lightweight, reference-grade closed-back headphone. We've gone to great lengths and incorporated community feedback into our products and to try to capture the best qualities of the most popular headphones in the audiophile market into one coherent package. With the Australis we believe we've answered the call for a mid-priced, but highly performant closed back headphone that doesn't sacrifice technicalities or tone.

We utilize 50mm, 32 ohm drivers that work well with portable sources, but reveal improvements from desktop sources as well providing flexibility and sound quality in a variety of conditions. Our construction is simple and durable. We've made an effort to keep these models free of all animal skins, utilizing a combination protein leather (not vegan), synthetic fabrics, resins, and metals to create a headphone that should easily handle normal wear and tear for years to come.

Order Delivery Terms:

Orders typically ship within 1 to 2 weeks of ordering. Due to the small batch ordering of parts, unpredictable order volume and lead times we cannot guarantee this shipping time frame, but will work to fill orders as quickly as possible. By ordering this product and accepting the ordering terms, you agree that you understand that this estimate is not a guarantee of delivery date. Once the order is shipped, our normal Warranty and Return Policy applies just as with any other purchase. Cancellation requests for orders will incur a fee as detailed in our Warranty and Return Policy. Initial units will ship with some 3D printed parts created using FDM (TPU 95A) and SLS (Nylon PA12) processes.
